My very first maternity photo shoot was today at the Bonneville, UT Salt Flats. It was amazing! That place is so big and there is so much SALT everywhere! I’ve learned a few things about working at the salt flats though…

1. Wear Sun Screen
2. Bring something to lay on because the salt will soak up the water in your skin and it burns
3. Bring Lots Of Water
4. Wear Clothes You Don’t Mind Killing Since You Will Be Laying In The Salt
5. Bring Shade
6. Don’t Speed
7. Chap stick is Your Best Friend
8. Sunglasses Are A MUST
9. Bobby Pins = GREAT if you have long hair (like me)
10. If you’re being photographed, it’s always windy out there. Remember to bring extra hold hair spray.

I saw The Fray with Jack’s Mannequin Saturday night! They freakin’ ROCK!!!

I spent the day in Fruiteland, UT taking photos for my friend at her wedding.   Their theme was “Klassy-Redneck Wedding” and her main focal point was camo. Her husband wore camo and her dress was camo.  Really cool details!  It rained almost the whole time.  It stopped shortly after the ceremony so we could run outside and take a few quick shots.  They’re a fun couple.  I’ve got to edit all the pictures now (over 400) and get them to her as soon as I can. YEAY!

Also, my website is in the process of being updated and revamped! I’m really excited for it.
