Maternity Photo Shoot – Utah Salt Flats

My very first maternity photo shoot was today at the Bonneville, UT Salt Flats. It was amazing! That place is so big and there is so much SALT everywhere! I’ve learned a few things about working at the salt flats though…

1. Wear Sun Screen
2. Bring something to lay on because the salt will soak up the water in your skin and it burns
3. Bring Lots Of Water
4. Wear Clothes You Don’t Mind Killing Since You Will Be Laying In The Salt
5. Bring Shade
6. Don’t Speed
7. Chap stick is Your Best Friend
8. Sunglasses Are A MUST
9. Bobby Pins = GREAT if you have long hair (like me)
10. If you’re being photographed, it’s always windy out there. Remember to bring extra hold hair spray.
